How to prepare for KLEE 2025 in Just 10 days
Is that too short a time? The answer is yes and no. A state level competitive exam written by almost 8000 plus candidates is not a cakewalk to be covered in a short span of time. At the same time, if one studies in a smart and practical manner, then KLEE is not out of reach. The new syllabus has just 120 questions and duration is unchanged i.e. two hours. The questions are in the range of moderate to easy and sometimes very easy.
KLEE has four sections – Legal, English, General Knowledge, Mental Ability. Let us look at a smart approach to each section. A good KLEE coaching centre should focus on core aspects of these four sections.
Legal: This is the biggest section in the revised syllabus also. There are 41 questions in legal section for 5-year and 3-year LLB KLEE 2025 exams.
Maxims (Easy to learn and understand and memory power is the more important thing. Can be unexpectedly interesting also).
Constitution saw the maximum number of questions last year in legal. Mostly on Indian Polity. This is one section where you will have to do a little spread-out reading. Select a good guide for that. Do not go for unlimited reading.
Law of torts questions always finds a place in the Legal section. Pick and choose only probable questions. Limited study is again recommended. Don’t go too analytical.
In Law of crime and contract there are select questions that can and will appear. Browse through this section with selective picking here and there. Remember to study those questions that are easily retainable in a practical manner.
Do not go into legal analysis and confine yourself to understanding the concept. Ensure that KLEE online coaching centres are also in line with this ( for very short courses)
English: The general English section has 36 questions divided between vocabulary and grammar. It is slightly more tilted towards vocabulary. In fact, a trend that is being followed in most law entrance tests of India. Keeping this in mind try to score fast and easy with –
Idioms (hundred percent hit ratio)
On word substitutes (hundred percent hit ratio)
Synonyms and Antonyms (don’t go for the hard to crack words. Browse through 500 to 800 commonly used words in daily English conversation).
Don’t go deep into fill in the blanks vocabulary. We end up practising the hard ones and feeling confusing (KLEE fill in the blanks is usually easy and not even moderate).
In grammar section study on – Reported speech, question tag (easy to learn and answer).
Don’t practice too much spot the error. Answer it spontaneously.
Try to get max two questions correct in Comprehension. Even one is enough.
General Knowledge and current affairs: Total 27 questions last year and this year syllabus also specifies the same.
There were less questions on current affairs and more on static GK in last year’s KLEE. In fact, there was just about three to five questions in current affairs last year.
Static GK is unlimited and like an ocean. So, is there any need to panic? Absolutely not! Going by last year’s pattern, the questions were too simple and straightforward. Bare essential awareness is enough.
Probable areas to be focussed include – Awards, first in India, first in Kerala, sports. Never-ending coverage of static GK should be avoided. A good guide will help a long way in that.
International GK is very less. Geography is good to understand at least the basic. things. Again, do not stretch.
Mental ability, syllogism, blood relation:
This section has 15 questions in total according to the new syllabus.
All areas are not very easy and maths / mental ability is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea. For this section systematic approach is recommended. Remember only 10 days left.
Number series questions find it way always in KLEE mental ability section. This year also might be the same. So better to focus and practice on that.
Coding and decoding are another section where the students can or rather should practice some questions and get the calculation logic settled. Once the logic sets in mind, then any question can be tackled.
Two other areas of equal importance are blood relation and ratio. These are two sections which the students can put time aside and practice till the problem solving comes automatically. Maximum three to four questions in one study session are recommended.
This sums up the recommended study pattern for a mega-crash preparation of 10 days for the KLEE 2025 exam. JobSecura short term KLEE offline and online course is a blend of precise topics.
As we mentioned above, a good guide is essential for fast-track practice of important areas and questions.
